HUNTER is proud to partner with The Ali Forney Center, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting homeless LGBTQIA+ youth. Many of us have personally volunteered with this incredible organization in the past, and we’re excited to continue our support, led by HUNTER’s LGBTQIA+ Employee Resource Group.
We’re backing the Ali Forney Center’s SERVE event—an all-day Dance-a-Thon on Sunday, November 10th—which brings together the vibrant worlds of nightlife, dancing, food, and music to raise essential funds for feeding homeless LGBTQIA+ youth year-round. We’ve committed our support—now we’re encouraging you to join the party and give back in your own way.
Let’s dance, donate, and make a difference! 💃🕺

🌟 A Powerful Reminder from Leon Guy 🌟
“I think sometimes people hesitate to help because they feel like their contribution won’t be enough. But the truth is, every small step matters. Every dollar, every item, every gesture adds up.” – Leon Guy, Facility Manager at Crossroads
When you take that first step to help, no matter how small it seems, it makes a difference. 💖
🔹 Leon shared a story: someone came in and wanted to donate $10, unsure of how much it could really help. But that $10—added to others—becomes part of something much bigger. It could feed families, provide dignity to someone in need, or simply offer a moment of relief.
“It's not about the size of the donation, it's about taking action. Every bit helps. And together, we create change.”
At Crossroads, we see the direct impact of these small steps every day. The challenge may feel overwhelming, but every act of kindness makes a real difference.
🔹 Join us in taking that step. Whether it's a $10 donation or a few hours of your time, you can help create change. Together, we can make sure no one has to go without.

Starting a business isn’t easy, and for most startups, making a profit in the early years is a big challenge.
At Purpl, one of those challenges is: how can we stay true to our mission of giving back and making a difference in the disabled community before we achieve financial stability?
For me, this commitment means everything. Supporting disabled charities isn’t just a box to tick, it’s at the very heart of what Purpl stands for. Actions speak louder than words, and it’s not enough to say we’re going to give back; we need to show it. Authenticity is so important to me. I want our community to see that we mean every word and that we always follow through.
That’s why we created a media deck with a difference. A portion of the funds generated from brand promotional activity on Purpl will be donated to charities within the disabled space. Every brand that works with us will be contributing to making a real difference, not just saving our members money but also helping Purpl to give back.
I’m thrilled that our first charity partner is Spinal Injuries Association, knowing that we’re contributing to an incredible cause not only makes me happy but reminds me why I am working so hard to make Purpl a big success.
Purpl is 'with' the disabled community, not just 'for' it.
Our members and the disabled community will always come first because they are at the heart of everything we do. 💜

Purpl is more than just discounts, it has a social cause at its heart. And we're very proud to be supporting Spinal Injuries Association💜
Purpl brings the disabled community together, provides relevant disability focused content and has a focus on giving back to disabled charities.
“I’m delighted to announce that our first charity partnership is with Spinal Injuries Association. Supporting the disabled community beyond discounts is a core value of Purpl, and this partnership is a meaningful way for us to give back. From November 2024 to March 2025, we will donate 20% of funds raised through our promotional brand activity to Spinal Injuries Association.” Georgina Colman, Founder & CEO of Purpl

Cerebral Palsy mainly affects their motor skills - their brains are not always affected.
Imagine being trapped in a body that doesn’t want to do the things you want it to.
Basically sums up life with the condition.
Since starting this social branding development for businesses I’ve had a unique lens into such interesting insights.
Yes, more donations, sales, and volunteers are the ROI of these charities and NGOs but equally important is general awareness!
People don’t care because they don’t know about it.
They don’t know to care, help, or get involved.
We don’t know what we don’t know!
When it comes to social-type content, being available online is (and should) be the prioritised goal. Everything happens after consistency and time. Especially if you’re starting with zero.
And now you know Bobby can see you awkwardly avoiding him. 😂

Dear friends,
Today, I reach out to you with a heartfelt plea for help. Madalina, a brave mother of three, is in a desperate situation and needs our support. After several surgeries, Madalina has lost one of her legs and is now confined to a wheelchair. These tragic events have placed her in a difficult position where she can barely provide for her children and herself.
The Urgent Situation
Madalina has not been able to pay her rent for the past seven months. Understandably frustrated, the landlord has given her a final warning and plans to involve the authorities to evict her from the house. This family is on the brink of homelessness.
How You Can Help
I am asking you to contribute as little as one euro, dollar, or pound to help Madalina and her children. Your generous donations will be used primarily for:
Paying off overdue rent: Ensuring the family has a roof over their heads.
Buying food: Providing the essentials for Madalina and her children.
Procuring a prosthetic leg: Helping Madalina regain some mobility and independence.
Every Contribution Counts
No amount is too small. Every single donation will make a significant difference in their lives. Imagine the impact we can collectively make if each of us gives just a tiny portion of what we have. It could mean the difference between security and uncertainty for Madalina and her children.
Spread the Word
If you cannot donate at this time, you can still help by spreading the word. Share this post, tell your friends, and encourage others to visit our blog and contribute. Together, we can make a monumental difference.

I have a confession—despite having a fantastic and meaningful job in leadership at TGV, there are some days when it’s just hard to get out of bed and keep doing it.
Today is Give Out day - an opportunity to contribute $ to a LGBTQIA+ org (and have those donations doubled by other philanthropists) but it’s not JUST about fundraising…
It’s also about GRATITUDE. In a world where so much healing and social change is needed, our sector does much heavy lifting… and it’s exhausting.
It’s not just stigma & discrimination that impacts LGBTQIA+ orgs (who receive 5 cents in each dollar that supports other ‘mainstream’ NFPs).
For trans and gender-diverse-led organisations, it’s also the profound cost of peer work in which embodied trauma impacts 100% of staff, volunteers and the communities we serve - and the impossibility of giving those costs a dollar value. On the days in which it’s hard to keep going, gratitude helps!
My highlight of the week took place at a tram stop yesterday, when a community member said, ‘Hi, thanks for all your work!’
Gratitude is what keeps us going.
If you have a dollar spare today, we’d love your donation. Otherwise please share your gratitude by sharing the ‘give out’ call with folks you know who have gratitude AND money!

The Prime Legacy of Global Powerhouse | Dan Murphy's | Gregory Anderson—The Empowering Influence of Empathy and Kindness in Corporate Social Responsibility: Inspiring Global Change for the Homeless
In a world where profit margins are often prioritized over compassion, an individual has emerged as a beacon of hope for the homeless population through an universal commitment to kindness and empathy. Dan Murphy, a visionary leader in the field of corporate social responsibility (CSR), has not only successfully raised funds to support the homeless but has also initiated a global movement of goodwill and social transformation.
The intersection of CSR, ethical leadership, and societal impact has never been more crucial than in today's increasingly interconnected world. Murphy's actions serve as a poignant reminder of the transformative power that businesses possess in shaping a more equitable and inclusive society. By extending a helping hand to those in need, he has not only alleviated the suffering of the homeless but has also sparked a ripple effect of generosity and compassion that transcends borders and cultures.
At the core of Dan Murphy's endeavors lies a deep-seated belief in the ethical foundation of CSR – a belief that businesses have a moral obligation to make positive contributions to society and uplift those who are marginalized and vulnerable. Through his strategic framework for ethical leadership, a new standard for corporate philanthropy has been established by Dan Murphy, one that prioritizes empathy, kindness, and authentic human connection above all else.
As we navigate the complexities of a rapidly changing world, Dan Murphy's example serves as a guiding light for both businesses and individuals. His actions remind us that true leadership is not solely measured by profits but by the impact we have on the lives of others and the legacy of compassion we leave behind.
In an era characterized by uncertainty and division, let us draw inspiration from Dan Murphy's remarkable journey and commit ourselves to creating a world where kindness and empathy are paramount. Together, we can forge a future where every individual – regardless of their circumstances – is treated with dignity, respect, and compassion.
Let’s unite and embark on a collective journey towards a more just, inclusive, and compassionate world – a world where the homeless are not forgotten but embraced with open hearts and outstretched hands.
Together, a difference can be made. Together, a brighter future for all can be created.
Join in the movement for change. Together, the world can be transformed, one act of kindness at a time.
