The RSNA Medical 3D Printing in Practice is a multifaceted, two-day CME course which provides attendees with the opportunity to learn the essentials of 3D printing, interact with leaders in the field and engage with exhibitors. This course not only explores the value of integrating 3D printing into various medical applications, but also the how, when and where. From defining the value of 3D printing at the point of care, to providing guidance in the growth of the 3D printing practice at the point of care and the associated regulatory framework, the program includes practical didactic sessions by experts in the field. Innovations in 3D Printing are presented in 2 abstract sessions and a dedicated session on reimbursement and the implementation of category III CPT codes will guide audience in their sustainability efforts.
Unique to this year's meeting are various sessions that address real-life challenges in segmentation, a hands-on session using commercial software where the audience can apply the tips and tricks gained during didactic sessions, sessions exploring imaging protocol optimization and a discussion on exploring partnerships between point of care institutions and industry.
