I just started my long-awaited vacation 🦖 And I began to wonder how to rest and use this time most effectively ? How to learn to relax? 🤔 Sleep and rest are among the most important human needs. Although our body is capable of rapid recovery and adapts relatively easily to the most extreme circumstances, without rest it is unable to function effectively. How to rest depends on several factors. For one person, rest is carefree lounging on a hammock, for another it is intense physical training or relaxing in the company of a loved one. Importantly, rest can't be made up - although a few days' vacation allows us to catch our breath from daily activities, regularity should also accompany us in finding time just for ourselves every day 💪 If you find yourself repeating in your head "I don't know how to relax," start with small changes. A few minutes on a mat with your eyes closed a day, an evening bath with aromatic oil, or maybe a tasty tea before going to bed? 🫖 Find your own way to relax, experiment and try different solutions. It is better to find time to relax every 2-3 hours every day than to try to achieve balance after several months of constantly working beyond your capacity 🙆 #justrelax #learningofresting #habits #selfcare #rest #howtorest

Craving a vacation? I’m a firm believer in taking a 2-day rejuvenation every couple of month, just enough time to refresh my mind and escape the overwhelming chaos of daily life. Away from the relentless city noise, the never-ending traffic, and the constant demands, I seek a peaceful retreat where I can simply rest my thoughts. These short but meaningful escapes allow me to reconnect with nature, breathe in the serenity, and find clarity in the stillness. In those moments, it's just me, the calm, and a world beyond the hustle. It’s a great way to pause, refresh, and come back rejuvenated. Do you plan such vacations? How do you unwind during your mini getaways? Do you prefer adventure or pure relaxation? #WeekendRejuvenation #FindYourPeace #MindfulGetaway #DisconnectToReconnect

Friday Fun This particular Friday is a bit more "fun" than a normal Friday because I'm taking a little break 🎉 It's easy to get caught up in the endless cycle of work, responsibilities, and commitments. But amidst the chaos, remember this: taking a vacation and allowing yourself to truly relax is not a luxury, but a necessity for your well-being. 🌟 Renew Your Energy: A vacation offers you the chance to step away from the daily grind, to rest, recharge, and rejuvenate. Give yourself the gift of relaxation. 🌟 Gain Perspective: Stepping away from your usual environment provides a fresh perspective. It allows you to gain clarity, to see things from a different angle, and to reflect on what truly matters in life. Whether you're lounging on a tropical beach or exploring a new city, you'll find that moments of relaxation can often lead to moments of profound insight. 🌟 Strengthen Relationships: A vacation isn't just about escaping your routine; it's also an opportunity to reconnect with loved ones. 🌟 Nurture Creativity: When you give your mind the space to relax and unwind, you create the perfect environment for creativity to flourish. 🌟 Prioritize Self-Care: It's important to remember that self-care is not selfish—it's essential. Remember this: taking a vacation and allowing yourself to relax isn't just about taking a break—it's about honoring yourself, nurturing your soul, and embracing the beauty of the journey. Bon voyage! 🌟✨🌴" #Vacation #selfcare #rest

I don’t know about you, but I am ready for a super fun weekend. This is the perfect time to dream about those soon to be had summer vacations. Close your eyes and picture your favorite vacation spot. Do you have it in your mind? Be honest… What is it about this spot that you love? What is it that keeps you coming back? Now, imagine if your home felt like that. I know… It would be incredible. If you can, take a moment and use all of your senses to pick out your favorite smells, sights, sounds, textures, and tastes of your favorite vacation spot. Here’s where the fun part comes in. This weekend, try to bring your vacation spot to life at home. 🌴Put on that magic music or natural sounds. 🌴Fill your home with those amazing smells using candles, oil diffuser, or by cooking that delicious vacation meal. 🌴Pour yourself that boat drink or grab a signature treat that reminds you of your spot. 🌴Maybe you can even add a touch of nature or something you can look at or hold that sparks a vacation vibe. By enhancing your space with things you love about vacation, you can shift the energy and create a tranquil space. What an amazing way to live. #vacationathome #invitingdesign #wellnessdesign #wellbydesign #livebetterlonger #healthylife #womenshealth #wellness #healthylifestyle #healthymehealthywe #wellnessdesigngroup #wellnesscoach #healthcoach #midlifewomen #longevity #healthymadeeasy #healthyaging #midlifehealth #menopauserelief #naplesfl #paradisecoast #redefineaging

Sometimes, the best vacations are the ones that break you down before they build you up. After an all-nighter on a cramped flight, I found myself standing in the cold, wet woods, miles from any kind of comfort. This was supposed to be my “vacation.” 𝗡𝗼 𝘀𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗽. 𝗡𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝘇𝘆 𝗯𝗲𝗱. 𝗡𝗼 𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗺𝘁𝗵. Here’s why I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat. 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿 3 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀, 𝗜: - Hiked through muddy trails with leeches clinging to my legs - Ate nothing but bread and peanut butter for every meal - Slept on the hard forest floor with the rain soaking through my tent The cold settled deep in my bones, and by the second day, my shoes were trashed. I finished the hike in a pair of sandals that I patched together with whatever rope I could find. 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲, 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸. But for me, it was exactly what I needed. Here’s why: In the discomfort, I found clarity. In the simplicity, I found peace. In the quiet, I found the space to just 𝗯𝗲. It didn’t recharge my body, if anything, I came back more sore and tired than I left. But it recharged something deeper: My mind. --- So, if you’re feeling overwhelmed and seeking a reset, remember that stepping away doesn’t always mean luxury. Sometimes, it’s about stripping everything down and finding out what really matters. What’s the most uncomfortable vacation you’ve taken? Did it change you? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear your story.

As June comes to an end, the sun is shining, temperatures are rising, and our minds are slowly drifting towards vacation. 🏝️ When it comes to planning a vacation, there are always two types of people. Planners have a detailed itinerary, a list of activities, and reservations for every moment of the day. Every detail is thought out, and nothing is left to chance. On the other hand Relaxers go with the flow, enjoy spontaneity, and explore without a plan. They relax and savor each moment without worrying about the details. What kind of vacation are you planning this year, and which type are you? Let us know in the comments below. 👇🏻 Let's see if any Relaxers will actually chime in knowing where they're going on vacation this year. 😏

It took me about 3-4 days of vacation in Italy until my mind was actually on vacation. We all know we need to take some time away to get a fresh perspective and rejuvenate our spirits. The problem is, most of us take vacations that are way too short. If you’re like me, time away is money. A long weekend or extending a business trip for an extra day or two is not a real vacation. You need to give your mind time to unwind. You need time to let your body adjust. The first few days might even be a bit painful. But then something amazing happens. When you let your mind and body relax, you can truly see things differently. You take in the new sights, have a few lively conversations, and then it happens. You start to think bigger. You start to think differently. Those lightbulb moments don’t happen when you’re running between meetings with a cup of coffee in your hand. They happen when you’re walking on the coast, completely relaxed, with a glass of wine in your hand, marveling at a sunset. Your mind needs rest to do its best work.
