Progression still comes up in my conversations as the biggest reason, other than money, for wanting to move on into a new role. Often, it’s about wanting to get out into a field role. Just yesterday, I spoke to two claims handlers / desk adjusters who are ready to get out into the field but haven’t had the chance. They both like their companies and have asked internally, but the opportunities just aren’t there. Adjusting companies are investing heavily in development programs, which is great to see, but there are still plenty of people who don’t feel like they are getting their chance unless they, reluctantly, move on. #lossadjusting #lossadjuster #claims #progression
