VÆRIDION secures €14M in Series A funding to accelerate the rollout of its electric Microliner by 2030, paving the way for zero-emission regional flights. The round was led by World Fund, with participation from Project A, Vsquared Ventures, Andreas Kupke, Schwarz Holding, and InnovationQuarter. Founded in 2021 by former Airbus managers Ivor van Dartel and Dr. Sebastian Seemann, VÆRIDION is transforming short-haul aviation with its innovative e-aircraft technology. The Microliner, a nine-seater fixed-wing aircraft with a 400 km range, is on track for prototype flights in 2027 and commercial launch by 2030. Flying taxi startup Sarla Aviation has secured $10 Mn (around INR 86.5 Cr) in a Series A1 funding round led by Accel👇 The company is looking to deploy the newly raised capital into growing its operations, setting up a research and development centre, expanding workforce, while also launching its flying prototype. The prototype is expected to be unveiled on Friday (January 17), at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, Delhi NCR.
