Mr. Munish Bhatia emphasized the critical role of startups in driving change and highlighted how integrating startup solutions into CSR initiatives not only generates revenue for startups but also enables them to scale by collaborating with NGOs and Foundations. This approach helps startups gain valuable exposure, making a meaningful impact on both business and social fronts. In 2017, 29.5% of all start-ups registered in India had at least 1 woman director. As of 7th November 2022, the same percentage has exponentially increased to 47%. That’s a huge turn in numbers, and rightly so. As a female director of a Vegan and Sustainable brand, I find immense inspiration in witnessing this shift and being a part of the fastest growing startup ecosystem in the world.
