In April, I had the privilege of speaking at the WA Council of Social Service Emerging Issues Forum about the barriers young people face when entering the community sector workforce. ⁠ ⁠ I spoke about some BIG questions:⁠ 🌟 How do we become more inclusive of young people in the community sector?⁠ 🌟 How do we attract more young people to the community sector?⁠ I've found through my own experience and talking to peers that young people are often criticized for not following rules that are never explained.
