As you may have heard IARAN and Centre for Humanitarian Leadership will soon launch the Future of Aid 2040: Pathways to transformation project, a new foresight initiative aimed at supporting humanitarian actors to meet the needs of an evolving world. This project will update the original Future of Aid: INGOs in 2030 https://lnkd.in/e9JpEqHW study which was widely used across the sector with a new set of scenarios and a detailed analysis of how organizations could lead themselves on a journey of transformation. We are excited to invite the #PledgeForChange community to join a series of co-hosted seminars to gather Pledge member’s viewpoints on the future of humanitarian work. This seminar series will consist of three 90-minute virtual webinars, each addressing critical topics for the humanitarian ecosystem and exploring one of our pledges. The first is this week and next: Seminar 1 - Futures Thinking (5 and 12 December 2024) Exploring the landscape of humanitarianism over the next 15 years, including key drivers and worldviews. Pledge 1 - Equitable Partnerships: What do equitable partnerships look like in the future? How does our changing sector influence the dynamics of partnership? What does success in the Pledge mean? What does failure to achieve the pledges look like? Adeso Eilidh Kennedy Michel MAIETTA Sidhee Patel Blessing Osagie Christopher Join us if you can! Register on the links below. This is shaping up to be a very useful document for the multilateral aid structures, I’m glad you got it off the ground IARAN. The 2030 version was amazingly accurate, if this version has the same credibility then we should all take note! Centre for Humanitarian Leadership and the #PledgeForChange are great partners to strengthen this.
These conversations are so important - and it's rare to have an opportunity for practitioners at all levels (who have so much to offer) to get a chance to help shape thinking about the future of the whole system.
A great project Kate Moger really looking forward to some of the great ideas this produces for the future.
mudasser siddiqui - great for Tu
Looking forward to joining the webinars! I thought the previous installment (towards 2030) was spot on.

3wSuch visioning of the future of humanitarian work is great. I am glad that I was able to use Equitable Partnership commitments and metrics from P4C in my current role. Happy to contribute to shaping Future Aid 2040.
