Most days I speak to 10+ new people and these are the top reasons people tell me why they aren't interested in a new opportunity. 1 - They have a lot of flexibility - things like compressed 4-day weeks, working from home as much as they please, 9-day fortnights, and no rigid working hours. 2 - They are in an inclusive culture and feel part of a team that they don't want to leave. 3 - They are being challenged and learning and feel fulfilled. 4 - They are on a career progression curve and have a clear idea of what's possible if they stay. 5 - They have a sense of loyalty because of the support they have been given. 6 - Their salary package is above average and it would mean going backward financially to leave.
