*Allah Said:* Whosoever desires honour, (power and glory), then to Allah belong all honour, power and glory [and one can get honour, power and glory only by obeying and worshipping Allah (Alone)]. To Him ascend (all) the goodly words, and the righteous deeds exalt it (i.e. the goodly words are not accepted by Allah unless and until they are followed by good deeds), but those who plot evils, theirs will be severe torment. Surah Ash-Sharh (94), Ayats 1-8: Translation: 1. Have We not opened your breast for you? 2. And removed from you your burden? 3. Which weighed upon your back? 4. And raised high your renown? 5. Verily, with hardship comes ease. 6. Indeed, with hardship comes ease. 7. So, when you have finished, strive hard. 8. And to your Lord turn your attention. Tafseer (Interpretation): Ayah 1-3: - Allah's mercy and opening of Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) heart. - Removal of burdens and difficulties. Ayah 4: - Allah's elevation of Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) reputation. Ayah 5-6: - Reassurance of ease after hardship. - Confirmation of this truth. Ayah 7: - Encouragement to strive after completing tasks. Ayah 8: - Focus on Allah, the ultimate goal. Themes: 1. Allah's mercy and support. 2. Relief from difficulties. 3.
