[Q&A GROUP FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT IN ART AND CULTURE IN EUROPE]
One of the pillars of the Digital Inter/Section reflection is, indeed, sustainability. During their research, the partners realised that a plethora of practical resources exist online, but the challenge persists for project initiators to translate these recommendations into actionable strategies. It's within this context that the Digital Inter/Section and Re-Imagine Europe teams joined forces to establish an online exchange group, underscoring the vital role of cooperation in the current context.
The online “Self-help group” aims to federate the digital art community around shared challenges and to advance sustainable practices. The members are invited to share, ask, reply and support one another when looking at their corporate strategy under the spectrum of sustainability.
What are the best practices for travelling and artworks touring?
Which third parties operate towards a more sustainable approach?
What is “fair pay” for artists and back office teams?
What characteristics make an artwork “accessible”?
Through collaborative dialogue and knowledge-sharing, participants embark on a collective journey towards holistic sustainability, recognizing that cooperation is essential for fostering innovation and driving meaningful change.
Participants will find in the self-help group:
Ressources produced by the DI/S consortium;
The DI/S project sustainability pledge;
Good practices;
A place to ask questions and learn from peers.
