Announcement: Join ICARE Sustainably International as an International Funding and Donor Relations Trustee (Volunteer) Position: International Funding and Donor Relations Trustee (Volunteer) Location: Remote (Preference for candidates based in Europe) ICARE Sustainably International, an INGO founded in 2018, is dedicated to advancing environmental, Educational and livelihood sustainability through alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We empower communities—particularly young adults—via education, resources, and innovation. We’re seeking a passionate and experienced professional to join our Board of Trustees as a Volunteer Trustee focused on mobilizing donor funding. This role is pivotal to ICARE’s financial growth, emphasizing unrestricted core funding from Europe and beyond. Key Responsibilities: Donor Engagement: Cultivate relationships with international donors and represent ICARE at events to secure funding. Fundraising Strategy: Lead efforts to develop and execute a strategy targeting unrestricted funding. Grant Management: Oversee tailored grant applications and ensure compliance with donor requirements. Stewardship: Foster strong donor relationships through impactful reporting and communication. Financial Oversight: Collaborate with the finance team to ensure funds are used effectively and transparently. Advocacy: Advocate for sustainable development and represent ICARE internationally. Qualifications: Proven experience in securing donor funding, particularly unrestricted core funding. Strong knowledge of the European/global philanthropy landscape. Excellent networking and relationship-building skills. Passion for sustainability, SDGs, and community development. Experience in grant writing and fundraising strategies. Commitment: Volunteer position requiring 4-5 hours per week. Initial 2-year term, with flexibility for travel.
