🌟 Excited to share a milestone! 🌟 I recently completed an enriching online internship with The Indian Journal for Research in Law and Management [ISSN:2583-9896] (Registered Micro Enterprise) for the month of September. This experience provided me with invaluable exposure to the world of legal research and academic publishing. Working alongside the editorial team, I was able to refine my analytical skills, assist with manuscript reviews, and support the rigorous quality standards that uphold the journal's academic integrity. This journey has deepened my appreciation for corporate and management law's role in research, and I'm grateful for the insights and growth this opportunity offered. Looking forward to applying these skills as I continue to build my career in law! #legalresearch #Lawandmanagement

STRUGGLES I'VE FACED AS A NON-NLU GRADUATE: As a graduate of UILS Shimla in 2022, I am grateful for the lessons learned at my law school, but being a Non-NLU graduate came with its own set of challenges. Here are some struggles I faced: 1. Perception and Prestige: NLUs are often seen as more prestigious, leading to biases in hiring with top law firms favoring NLU graduates. 2. Campus Placements: State govt colleges offer more local connections in litigation rather than the corporate sector. 3. Networking Opportunities: AS A Non-NLU student I lacked guidance on networking, needing to navigate this aspect independently. 4. Brand Recognition: The "NLU tag" can overshadow the talent of Non-NLU graduates. 5. Internship Opportunities: As a Non-NLU student I was provided with limited internship opportunities which leaned more towards litigation rather than corporate sectors. 6. Professional Confidence: Non-NLU students may face biases affecting their confidence when seeking opportunities. It is engrained in our minds that our NLU counterparts are somehow better than us. Navigating the legal profession as a Non-NLU graduate requires resilience and determination to overcome these challenges. It's essential to focus on skills, network-building, and showcasing capabilities to stand out in a competitive field. #LegalProfession #NonNLUGraduate #Challenges
