They say a picture is worth a thousand words in many languages. In this picture we have two chlorine sensors, two online turbidity sensors, one pH sensor (soon to be two), one conductivity sensor and one pressure transducer. We have two mains powered controllers and one battery powered controller/rtu. One set of instruments will use over 100L/hr of sample water and the other will use 10L/hr. ( I have been corrected, the good team at Salamander have informed me that as little at 10Lhr is required for the Hydraclam). Both sets of instruments are fit for purpose based on application. I should know I worked for HACH selling their great range of process and lab instruments which provided a great foundation with the convergence of water quality monitoring and IoT. Online water quality monitoring should not just be confined to the Water Treatment Plant! The Hydraclam can provide remote water quality monitoring just like traditional online process instrumentation.
