People tend to hire those they trust and connect with, often choosing individuals who think like them, even if they appear different. While visible diversity is crucial—especially for equality and equal opportunities—focusing only on appearance can be misleading. Hiring a diverse range of people who all think the same may look good but doesn’t foster true diversity. So why would you employ somebody who annoys you? Most people wouldn't do that. Who would you employ? Somebody you can trust somebody you hit it off immediately. It's very likely that person is going to be like you inside or very similar, even though they look very different. So I'm not dismissing the importance of the visible layer of diversity. This is very important, especially when we talk about equality. Of course it's important, the equal rights and opportunities. There's nothing more important than that. But sometimes it's, it's misleading that we employ people and we just. Employ a full range of skin colors because it looks good on the website, but all of them think like me.
