Yesterday's insightful virtual Diversity Town Hall, featuring Nilda Cid Gumbs (Chief of Staff, NCTA - The Internet & Television Association) as moderator and speakers Anne-Marie Burton, (Chief of Strategy and Programs, NAMIC) and Shebani Patel (Principal, Workforce Transformation, PwC US Consulting LLP), was a fabulous discussion of the results. This engaging town hall showcased how the latest AIM findings underscore the value of tracking DEI metrics, aligning them with organizational goals, and driving meaningful progress. If you follow WIRED Middle East you'll know that we were at LEAP last week (and if you don't follow WIRED Middle East, I mean... what are you doing?). Other than the words "revolutionary" and "innovative", the phrase that I heard the most was "This is my first time at LEAP". Clearly, the world is paying closer attention to Saudi Arabia and are investing their time, money and effort into building ties in the Kingdom. We've been talking about the potential of Saudi Arabia since at least 2018, and people have been trying to crack that market since it became clear that Vision 2030 was really underway and KSA was ready to open up to the world. There was a definite focus on AI but plenty of other technologies also shared the spotlight. You can check out our coverage on the WIRED ME website and across our social channels.
