At Qsimov we believe in the intersection between AI and Quantum Computing (QC). More specifically, we see that QC will serve as an accelerator for AI, which is why we want to lead this path.

I find this news very relevant. A judge in the USA has just ruled in favor of OpenAI, recognizing that generative artificial intelligence synthesizes information rather than copying it directly. According to this interpretation, although AI uses existing content to learn, it does not reproduce the material as is but rather generates new interpretations and responses.

Un juez de Estados Unidos ha fallado a favor de OpenAI frente a dos empresas que alegaban que se eliminó la información de derechos de autor de sus artículos al utilizarlos para entrenar su IA, violando la DMCA.
Lo más destacable de esta decisión es que el juez reconoció que la inteligencia artificial generativa sintetiza información en lugar de copiarla directamente. Según está interpretación, aunque la IA utiliza contenido existente para aprender, no reproduce el material tal cual, sino que genera nuevas interpretaciones y respuestas.
Este fallo resalta un punto clave en el debate actual: cómo las tecnologías de inteligencia artificial están transformando el uso de contenido protegido por derechos de autor. Es un recordatorio de la necesidad de encontrar un equilibrio entre la innovación tecnológica y la protección de la propiedad intelectual.
