Ever wondered what NICE's 'Proportional Approach to Technology Appraisals', or PATT may mean for your product's upcoming technology appraisal? If yes, please read our new whitepaper offering insights from streamlined cost-comparison appraisals (sCCAs) published to date, and practical tips on how to prepare for a potential sCCA route at NICE. Please also stop by our booth #921 or our poster session 5 (poster HTA120 and HTA352) at #ISPOREurope to find out more about our analysis of 15 sCCAs published to date and to learn how Lumanity can support you in your HTA preparations.
As we mark the one-year anniversary of NICE's proportional approach to technology appraisals (PATT), we are excited to share our new whitepaper. This document explores the streamlined cost-comparison appraisal (sCCA) process, which has now replaced the fast track appraisal (FTA). Our whitepaper looks into the first 15 sCCAs, offering crucial insights for manufacturers and guidance on preparing for NICE appraisal. We will be presenting our detailed findings from our review of 15 sCCA case studies at #ISPOREurope. Come and talk to us at Poster Session 5 on Wednesday, November 20, 9:00 - 11:30 for posters HTA120 and HTA352; or at Lumanity’s booth 921 if you would like to discuss your HTA strategy for NICE’s new streamlined approach, and to learn more about how Lumanity can support you to solve your unique challenges in developing of HTA submissions, including cost-comparison submissions. I’m thrilled to share that our research article, "A Comprehensive Framework for Supplier Selection: Using Subjective, Objective, and Hybrid Multi-Criteria Decision-Making Techniques with Sensitivity Analysis", has been published in IEEE Access! In this paper, we present a robust framework for supplier selection, utilizing five advanced Multi-Criteria Decision-Making (MCDM) techniques, including hybrid methods like FAHP-Entropy-TOPSIS. By combining expert insights with empirical data, our approach ensures a comprehensive and balanced evaluation. We also conducted an extensive sensitivity analysis across 21 scenarios, showcasing the stability and reliability of the hybrid approach. This research contributes to enhancing supplier evaluation and decision-making processes. Read more: https://lnkd.in/ekfnWA5g #SupplierSelection #MCDM #HybridApproach #AHP #FAHP #TOPSIS #Research

🌡 The key to effective temperature mapping isn’t just about placing sensors—it’s about being smart in where you are placing them. Navigating the complexities of Controlled Temperature Units (CTUs) can be overwhelming at times. But every decision, from sensor placement to risk assessment, plays a vital role in safeguarding product integrity and patient safety. That’s why I wrote a blog post breaking down optimal sensor placement using a risk-based approach. This strategy ensures you’re not just meeting compliance but also driving operational efficiency. 📖 In the article, you’ll learn: ☑ How to determine the number of sensors based on chamber size. ☑ Where to position sensors to eliminate blind spots and reduce risks. ☑ Why considering external factors like ambient temperature is critical. ☑ How industry guidelines (ISPE, USP, WHO) can simplify the process. 👉 Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/erNF2FGP Here are a 2 other LinkedIn posts to further your reading: 📌 https://lnkd.in/eKQVEz9B 📌📌 https://lnkd.in/eCQUz4qp 🚨 Don’t let poor sensor placement put your products—and compliance—at risk. The right strategy can save time, resources, and reputations.
