As much as the excitement for having this tech achievement that is meant to resolve business problems in almost no time. The fear is that hackers would use this technology to decrypt stolen data in a very short time. Add to this the increased capability of accurate digital twin generation; we will be unable to differentiate which one is real (if any). The concept of "see to believe" will vanish with such advancements in technology. Going back to the positive side, major achievements in the healthcare industry are expected due to such innovations.

Interesting development and certainly a laudable milestone. But consider that fact that quantum computers are efficient at certain types of computations and not necessarily so with this magnitude for all tasks done by conventional computers and supercomputers. So these numbers, while impressive and surely a step closer towards solving real world problems, are applicable for a particular problem.
