Every year, on the 12th of August, International Youth Day is celebrated. It is a special occasion dedicated to recognising the potential, achievements and contributions of young people across the globe. This day is not just about highlighting the challenges that youth face but also about celebrating their role as essential partners in building a better future. From driving digital innovation to championing social causes, today’s youth are at the forefront of change, making their mark on every aspect of society. "Today, we celebrate the power, potential, and passion of young people around the world. International Youth Day is a reminder that our generation has the capacity to shape the future and create positive change.” We are the leaders, innovators, and problem-solvers of tomorrow. We are the ones who will inherit the consequences of today's actions, and we are the ones who will drive progress and innovation. As young people, we face unique challenges - from climate change to social inequality, from mental health to economic uncertainty. But we also have unique strengths - our energy, creativity, and idealism. Let us harness these strengths to: - Demand action on climate change and sustainability - Fight for equality, justice, and human rights - Support mental health and wellbeing initiatives - Embrace diversity, inclusivity, and cultural exchange We are the future, and the future is now. Let us work together to create a world that is just, equitable, and sustainable for all. Courtesy: AMB.
