Egypt experiences the co-existence of multiple forms of malnutrition. The simultaneous challenge of both undernutrition and overnutrition provided the motivation for Sawiris Foundation for Social Development (SFSD), International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), and the Egyptian Food Bank (EFB) to co-organize the roundtable discussion titled: Malnutrition, Hunger, and the Egyptian Public Nutritional Health as part of the Bridging Evidence and Policy (BEP) Seminar Series. The discussion will engage key stakeholders capable of providing valuable insights to supporting policy actions, such as government officials, academics, and researchers, as well as representatives from NGOs, and international development assistance organizations. The roundtable discussion will provide the foundation for a brief of policy actions and recommendations to inform policymakers on the malnutrition challenges facing the Egyptian public.
