Sustainability was a key topic on the agenda at #IFSUnleashed 2024. I shared insights on why #sustainability is a competitive advantage that enhances investment performance, highlighting the role of technology in helping asset-heavy industries to reduce emissions by optimizing processes and resources, as well as modelling new ways of working. We're witnessing a global shift towards a green economy - bumpy, but with a clear direction of travel. In the process, much like the digital transformation, there will be both winners and losers. The winners are those companies who are embracing the potential of digitalization and Industrial AI to drive more sustainable ways of operating: informing decisions about the day-to-day as well as the 20-year horizon for their business. I was delighted to be able to speak with many such companies at #IFSUnleashed2024 and take inspiration from those who are accelerating our progress towards a sustainable future.

Completely agree with this! The same applies to less industrial industries, like hospitality. AI can help hotels select better suppliers by analyzing factors like cost, quality, delivery, and environmental impact, supporting more sustainable and eco-friendly operations. However, the biggest challenge in such industries is changing human behaviour. Any thoughts on how AI can assist in this area?
