This study highlights the critical role of weight stabilization in obesity management, emphasizing the need to prevent weight regain alongside achieving weight loss. While emerging therapies, such as GLP-1 analogs and combination treatments, may reduce the need for mild revision surgeries, the findings underline that restrictive approaches remain an essential element of comprehensive, multimodal obesity therapy.
