Do you ever need a strong tactics to motivate your team? The Bhagavad Gita offers a powerful, yet often overlooked, leadership strategy. Think of this: Lord Krishna never talks about Kauravas’ atrocities in the BG. He could have pulled a rhetoric about inustice, deceit, cruelty, immorality etc. But He chose not to. Krishna talks about a looong way of holistic living which includes Dharma (righteousness), Karma (action), Gyana (knowledge), and Bhakti (devotion). Instead of inciting Arjuna to fight based on circumstantial reasons; Krishna, as the ideal leader, fosters trust, creativity and a sense of ownership. Many manager resort to emotional manipulation through fear or greed. It is easy and alluring, but quick wins compromise sustainable success.
