Have you joined in on More Mindful May yet? If not, head on over to Intent Agility (and maybe give a little follow, like, and share while you're at it). No signup; no cost. Just offerings every day of May for Mental Health Awareness Month. #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth #MindfulLeadership #MoreMindfulMay
As most folks on any part of the internet today are likely aware, the month of May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Mindfulness practices will never, ever, replace other therapeutic, support, and societal needs. We can't simply get in some nature and do deep breathing about some of what we face. A dash of meditation doesn't magically erase systemic barriers and issues. That yoga class is not going to cure chronic illness. And eating a carrot will not replace meds you may need to literally function throughout the day. What can mindfulness do, then? It can provide us with added support in our mental health and overall wellbeing toolkit. Whether you struggle with being grounded in the present moment, providing yourself with functional care, or face challenging obstacles in your external and/or internal worlds, having even the smallest, shortest, simplest daily mindfulness practice can provide you with an opportunity to build capacity to show up in your life. To show up for yourself, even on the days when it's particularly difficult to do so. Throughout the month, I invite you to join me in adding just a little more mindfulness, every single day. This isn't a contest or "challenge." (Though it may be challenging, at least some days.) It is an opportunity to be in community together, show up for ourselves and each other, and add even 1% more supportive skills into our set of options we can pull from whenever, wherever. Won't you join me? #MoreMindfulMay #IntentAgility #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth #MindfulLeadership #DailyMindfulness #practice #community #support #coaching #coach #intentional #mindfulness #compassion Video ID: A loop of raindrops across a small human made pond, planted with deep green aquatic plants, plays as a dark-toned background, as if it's a closeup of a garden area at night. In the forefront of the reel, a rounded white outline surrounds appearing text that reads "Join Me for a More Mindful May; Daily Mindful Moments for Mental Health Month; @intentagility" The track plays sounds of a steady rainfall, with some droplets falling onto both hard surfaces and water.

Nestled in the serene embrace of majestic mountains, 35 mental health clinicians gathered for a transformative residential retreat designed to foster healing, connection, and community. Guided by our team of eight experienced facilitators, participants engaged in structured activities and spontaneous connections, such as swimming and bonfire gatherings, which cultivated a strong sense of trust and camaraderie among everyone present. The ketamine sessions facilitated profound emotional and psychological insights, supported by music and mindfulness meditation practices that promoted stillness and introspection. Participants also engaged in mindful walking, poetry readings, and laughter-filled moments that balanced the more intense experiences. We included rituals to mark transitions, while small and large group work ensured comprehensive integration of teachings. Our retreat emphasized inner wisdom, self-observation, and embracing all emotions, leading to a deeper understanding of oneself and one’s work. As one of our attendees reflected: "…[there was] such power in the experience. [I] came back to the ‘Self’ repeatedly through days and continue to hold more firmly to that part even with re-entry to usual routine and life. It does not mean suffering with dark feelings and emotions, points of confusion - this enables me to return to the ‘self’ more easily and [observe what has shifted] away (thanks to mindfulness practices)." By the end, the group had formed a cohesive community, leaving with a renewed sense of purpose and the transformative power of connection. I realized something this weekend that really got me thinking.. How so many of the problems and challenges that my clients, friends and colleagues get stuck with… They all seem to have something in common. All of these issues are literally created within the mind, and they can also be taken away with the mind as well. But still, most people find themselves searching and searching, all around them for the answer. For a way out. For a quick and easy fix to say bye bye to their deepest, darkest problems. But most of the time, it just isn’t that easy. It takes work to look deep inside of our minds and even recognize what it is that lies within. How to extract it, become aware of it. And then how to transform it into something brighter and more beautiful, that actually serves us and our purpose. In honor of mental health awareness month, I'm hosting a 2 Day Virtual Summit this week called Healthy Mind, Healthy Life where like-minded people will gather to discover powerful techniques to conquer their mind. To find the things in their mind that get them stuck, and find a way out. For good. I know that when our mind is healthy and thriving, then our life is also healthy and thriving. It is just that important. The Healthy Mind, Healthy Life Virtual Summit will be a conglomeration of 12 guest speakers all with powerful and profound insights on how to transform the mind. These speakers normally charge a lot of money to share this knowledge, but for this event - totally free. So if you are someone who is finally ready for peace of mind, and ready to show up - then comment PEACE NOW below and I'll send you the sign up link (again, totally free to sign up!) ✨ #healthymindhealthylife #mindfulness #mentalhealthawarenessmonth #mentalhealthawareness #mindset #mindful #personalgrowth

Today, let’s reflect on the importance of self-care and mental well-being. In our fast-paced lives, it’s easy to get caught up in the demands of work and responsibilities, but taking care of ourselves is essential for overall health and happiness. Take some time today to do something that nourishes your mind, body, or soul. Whether it’s going for a walk in nature, practicing mindfulness meditation, or simply indulging in a hobby you love, prioritize activities that recharge and rejuvenate you. Remember, self-care isn’t selfish; it’s a necessary investment in your own well-being. By prioritizing self-care, you’ll not only feel better physically and emotionally but also be better equipped to handle life’s challenges with resilience and grace. #SelfCare #MentalWellBeing #PrioritizeYou

🌿 MINDFUL WEDNESDAY: The Art of Saying No 🌿 Welcome to #MindfulWednesday, where we explore the power of mindfulness in setting boundaries and saying no. In our fast-paced, constantly connected world, it can be challenging to maintain balance and personal well-being. One crucial skill in our pursuit of happiness and mental health is the art of setting boundaries. 🌟 Why Boundaries Matter: Protecting Mental Health: Boundaries help prevent burnout, reduce stress, and maintain overall mental well-being. Fostering Healthy Relationships: They establish mutual respect and understanding in relationships. Enhancing Self-Respect: Setting boundaries demonstrates self-respect and asserts our right to prioritize our needs. Empowerment and Autonomy: Boundaries empower us to take control of our lives and align with our values and priorities. Today's Mindfulness Exercise: Take a few moments to meditate on your boundaries. Find a quiet space, close your eyes, and focus on your breath. Visualize a boundary around you that protects your time, energy, and emotional well-being. Reflect on one area in your life where you need to set a boundary and how it will empower you. Share your thoughts or experiences with setting boundaries in the comments below. Let's support each other in our journey towards balance and empowerment! 🗨 🌿 #MindfulWednesday #Boundaries #MentalHealth #Mindfulness #Empowerment #SelfCare #WellBeing

#535 🧘♂️ Movement & Mindfulness: The Science-Backed Path to Mental Wellbeing 🌟 Did you know that before prescribing anti-depressants, psychologists started with nature's remedies: sunlight and movement? 🌞 Here's why: Our ancestors built resilience through daily physical activity, not through scrolling screens. When we move, we don't just build muscles - we build mental fortitude through hope molecules. 💪 The science is clear: exercise isn't just about longevity; it's about creating that peaceful state where mindfulness can flourish. Ready to transform your mental wellness journey? Start with a simple walk in the sunshine. 📢 I've received feedbacks that some concepts need more clarity. Need more insights?
