Hello everyone, In this video, I am excited to share my final project presentation entitled "The effect of Workload and Physical Work Environment on Subjective Work Fatigue in Steel Production Workers (Case Study: Kunango Jantan Ltd)." I hope this presentation provides valuable insights into work fatigue and its control to improve occupational health and safety standards.

I have just got valuable training on Fiar 4 All Training: Juman Rights Due Diligence Process in Food Industry organized by the Prakarsam on 13-15 March 2024 in Jakarta. More deepened understanding of the United Nations Guiding Principles, concepts, and processes on Human Right Due Diligence and build a foundation for research projects on human rights. Sarinee Achavanuntukul from Thailand has shared a systematic step-by-step process to assess the HR issues in the company until the reporting. Though it was too short to be skilled in this assessment, it has inspired me to assess SSE-based enterprises. All businesses, regardless of the economic platform, must integrate HR principles in their operation.

The Honourable Minister of Human Resources of Malaysia, Mr. Steven Sim, highlighted some of the key features of newly enforced Occupational Safety and Health (Amendments) Act, in conjunction with Malaysia’s ratification of ILO Occupational Safety and Health Convention (C.155) on 11 June 2024. Among others, the amendments empower and grant workers the right to remove themselves from their workplace if they have reasonable justification to believe that there exists imminent danger to their safety and health. 🌟 Enhancing Workplace Safety: Key Takeaways from an Occupational Health and Safety Class 🌟 On October 1st, 2024, I had the opportunity to attend a short class on occupational health and safety procedures, and it was an invaluable experience! Understanding Occupational Safety: The class emphasized the importance of creating a safe work environment, recognizing hazards, and implementing preventive measures to protect ourselves and our colleagues in our workplace. One of the highlights of the training was the practical session on how to use a fire extinguisher for small-scale fires. Here are some of the essential insights I gained: Fire Extinguisher Training: We learned the PASS technique—Pull, Aim, Squeeze, and Sweep—to effectively use a fire extinguisher. This hands-on practice boosted my confidence in handling small fires should they occur. Promoting a Culture of Safety: It's essential to foster a safety-first mindset in the workplace, encouraging everyone to contribute to a safer environment.
