In the heart of Nagava, Singrauli—a district in Madhya Pradesh known for its potential—students at Govt. Middle School are discovering a fresh approach to learning science. Thanks to support from National Payments Corporation Of India (NPCI)'s CSR initiative, traditional teaching methods are being enhanced with interactive models and exhibits. . A standout moment was when a teacher illustrated buoyancy using a viscosity tube model. Students watched as different liquids with varying viscosities interacted, providing a clear, visual explanation of buoyancy principles. This hands-on experience not only clarifies complex concepts but also fuels curiosity and passion for science. . One particularly noteworthy initiative involves revolutionizing how we teach complex subjects like the reflection of light. Instead of relying solely on textbooks, we've introduced hands-on models and exhibits into our classrooms.  . Imagine the difference it makes when students can actively engage with scientific concepts! Through practical demonstrations, they're able to see firsthand how light behaves when it strikes a surface and reflects off it. IIT Jammu's Outreach Section, led by Dean of Continuing Education Prof. Abhay Sharma and Associate Dean Dr. Nalin Sharma, organized a special visit for 200 students and teachers from Higher Secondary School, Sumwan, District Kathua, J&K. The event also welcomed a delegation from Ulster University, UK, comprising Dr. Dermot Kerr, Prof. Sonya Coleman, and Dr. Deepika Nikam. The UK delegation interacted with the students, sharing insights into their research in robotics. The visiting students toured the IIT Jammu campus, exploring modern classrooms and advanced laboratories, providing them with a firsthand experience of the institute's state- of-the-art facilities. IIT Jammu's final-year student, Mr. Ranjeet Raj, shared valuable insights into the diverse academic opportunities available at the institute. Refreshments were served to the visitors after the tour.
