Next on #CSRD tips & tricks: what happens after the Double Materiality Assessment? Here’s how I see it. The #DoubleMaterialityAssessment helps determine which of the many #ESG topics are important for the company (read: which #ESRS topical standards your company will need to report on). For example, if the materiality assessment results show that “S1: Own Personal” is a material topic, the company needs to disclose information on approx. 140 “questions” (formally called: data points). *Gap Analysis* is the process of identifying which of the company's “questions” company can’t answer (yet). For example, there is no process for collecting the data point requested, or there is no process or policy in place for that particular topic. Gap Analysis helps the team prioritize the many ESG topics, build an Action Plan, and set goals and KPIs based on that.
