Sensitive is for sensitive: Except when it isn't. 🤔 (a discussion about labels and plant-based extracts) Years ago I was asked to create a series of back bar serums for exhale Spa. I was asked to formulate 1. Sensitive 2. Mature/Dry 3. Acne 4. Balance I did. The Sensitive and Mature are still ordered and used ongoing. 20 years now, I think. The thing about essential oils and plant-based extracts, they are more than what is written on the label. This formula called "Sensitive," is great for skin deemed sensitive. The basic formula is: Vetiver Kunzea Palmarosa Cedarwood Cape Chamomile Lavender Maillette Rosemary Verbenone        (of course I didn't give you the whole formula) The essential oils are in a base of -> grapeseed oil (pressed, not hexane extracted) -> rosehip seed oil -> vitamin E Simple, but effective on most (almost said all) skin types and conditions. This is a beautifully soothing and anti-inflammatory formula. Great for sensitive skin. It's also very regenerative. Good for all skin types. The formula would also be pro-aging. -> cell regenerative -> antioxidant -> restorative along with the anti-inflammatory properties. Reducing inflammation, the antibacterial properties, as well as some detoxifying activity, makes this a good formulation for - Acneic and congested skin. I could keep going. The message here is - If you have truly plant-based and essential oil products, the more you know, the more potential you can get from your products. Labels make marketing easier.
