8moWhat else? AI and digital annotations in pathology are growing fast in the digitalisation in the field of pathology. We need to include AI transparency and digital annotations in the standardized structured reporting for pathology. Why? Frist of all the patient has a right to know (in case of AI), in primary care and secondary to standardise the metadata we created real-world data, and train in secondary use the AI, to avoid data-drift and demographic bias. Here lies an opportunity and a challenge. Looking ahead towards the EHDS and projects like Big Picture including digitalannotations), we can together enhance the performance of AI in the pathology with the addition of the digital annotations
