We've joined forces with a group of founders, operators, doctors, academics, and policymakers to build a children's hospital and research institute in Ukraine. The need for mental and physical rehabilitation for war-affected children is urgent. Nadija - Children's Foundation is our commitment to making an immediate and lasting impact. "This is an opportunity to be a small part of doing some concrete good," says Miki, who's part of a group of Wolt operators and co-founders backing the project. Our next steps: 1. We start with a virtual hospital to quickly deliver accessible mental health services. 2. Following is a research institute to spread the best European rehabilitation practices and advance new knowledge. 3. Ultimately, we'll establish a physical rehabilitation hospital that will treat children directly and also serve as a long-term hub for pediatric psychiatric care, trauma recovery, and medical rehabilitation. Helsingin Sanomat wrote a story about the project today: https://lnkd.in/d4wT2YBf We're grateful to Anne Berner spearheading the project and everyone who's jumped on board (Ilkka, Mikko, Risto, Marianne, Riku, Juhani, and more) 🇺🇦
