Alexandra Burt is a clinical psychologist at Michigan State University who is working to understand the role of neighborhood disadvantage in youth mental health, and specifically how neighborhood conditions shape behavioral and brain development. She is also interested in understanding how some youth thrive despite exposure to high levels of disadvantage.
