💭 Where did consumers find holiday shopping inspiration? 💭 As 2024 draws to a close, we’ve taken a moment to reflect on the insights provided by our community of consumers and one theme stood out: Inspiration is everywhere ✨ From searching on platforms like TikTok, Instagram or Pinterest to in-store browsing, consumers blend the digital and physical worlds to discover more meaningful gifts. Here’s what we’ve learned: 🤳🏼 Social media dominates - TikTok’s honest reviews, Pinterest’s creative ideas and Instagram’s curated recommendations are shaping shopping choices for both Gen Z and Millennials like never before 🫱🏻🫲🏽 Trust matters - Consumers turn to family, friends and their immediate circle for authentic recommendations, often valuing these more than ads 🏢 In-store shopping is still a thing - Many still find inspo by going to physical stores. Some might say that’s old school but others feel this is where spontaneous ideas emerge, products can be tested first hand and the original holiday spirit comes alive In a season filled with hustle and high expectations, the modern shopper (whether Gen Z or Millennial) is combining innovation, and tradition with the digital and real world.
