A little glow up for The Charmed Nest ✨ I’ve been working with these professional Home Cleaners + Organizers for 60+ days. Since March: 📱 We’ve grown their Instagram following by 20% 📱 Impressions and interactions have consistently grown week-to-week 📱 We’ve created more reels that showcase the brand more effectively and encourage engagement 📱 Branding photos from our shoot with Lovely Ever Afters showcase professionalism + quality I also optimized their IG profile by: Creating a Linktree that links to their blog, newsletters, gift cards and more Adding profile highlights that showcase each of their services + branded icons for consistency Creating pinned posts (reels) at the top to make it easy for the viewer to know who The Charmed Nest is and what they’re about I’m also sure to select a compelling cover photo when uploading a reel, so it catches attention of the scrollers I can’t wait to see continued growth that lies ahead! And if you need help cleaning or organizing your home, I’d recommend checking out The Charmed Nest difference. 🏡 #IGGridGlowUp #InstagramGlowup #ProfessionalHomeCleaner

🧽 How did a simple scrubber achieve what many products dream of? It became a necessity! I recently came across a video about Scrub Daddy, Inc. and let me tell you—it's still just a sponge... but what a sponge! 🧼✨ It cleans like magic, costs more than the average sponge, and YET we all want it in our homes 😊… Why? Here's ✨the magic of marketing!✨ It’s not just about being different (which it absolutely is, and yes, I happily own 3 😅), but understanding what we, as consumers, crave: ✔️ Instant gratification: Who doesn’t love those hypnotic videos where they clean a filthy rug or make everything look brand new? ✔️ The everyday, but aspirational: What’s more relatable than cleaning the house? Except now, we’re doing it in style, with products that are TikTok stars! ✔️ Visual and emotional appeal: Bright colors, happy faces (literally), and that feeling of "I want this in my life!" But how do brands achieve this? 🤔 👉 Market Research: Listening to what we need, even when we don’t know we need it. A non-scratch, ergonomic, "satisfying" sponge is no accident. 👉 Marketing that connects: Scrub Mommy doesn’t clean better just because—it's effective because we’ve seen a thousand videos proving it works, and we believe it. I'd also like to mention IKEA—this year, they made a huge impact with kitchen organization and cable organizers. And let's not forget the Sharklas (anglerfish slides or sharkies ) phenomenon—another fantastic marketing success, very similar to Scrub Mommy’s rise! #Marketing #Trends #MarketResearch #ScrubMommy #HappyConsumers #IKEA #HomeOrganization #SharkLass #InstantGratification #VisualAppeal

Not all customers care about your brand story, and that’s a lesson I’m continuously learning, whether I work in tech support or furniture restoration. When I sell restored furniture on platforms like Facebook Marketplace or Offer Up, I’ve noticed something: people don’t really care about the story behind the piece. They’re just looking for a good deal on solid furniture that will look nice in their home and do the job. When I try to explain how I rescued it from the curb and gave it a second life, they look at me like I’m a little crazy. They hand me the cash, take the furniture, and go on their way. But when I share those same stories on my San Diego Furniture Flipper Instagram (https://lnkd.in/gdP4WVn9), it’s a completely different vibe. My followers get super into the rescue journey of each piece, and when they DM me to buy something, they rave about how much they love that it’s a one-of-a-kind, restored item with a backstory. The takeaway? Not every customer is going to care about the story, and that’s okay. Some just want a great product. But when you find the right audience, sharing those stories makes the experience so much more meaningful. Have you noticed a difference in how your customers respond to your brand story depending on where you’re sharing it? #customerexperience #branding #furnitureflipping

PINTEREST WORTHY HACKS for a smooth move ⬇️ 1. While clothes are still hanging, rubber band about 15 hangers together. Then grab a garbage bag & put a hole in the opposite end of where it ties, wrap it around a section of clothes and then tie it shut around the hangers at the top. Don't forget to tie the bottom too so the clothes are protected. 2. Pack heavy books in luggage with wheels to avoid overly heavy boxes. 3. Store spices inside of pots, cover with lids, add to boxes 4. Use a pool noodle around the edges of your mirrors and picture frames to protect them from breaking. 5. Label the sides of the boxes instead of the top. 6. Color code different rooms to make it easy for movers. Add colored labels to each room so they can match it up with each box. 7. Use coffee filters in-between plates. 8. Store knives in pot holders 9. Use clothes and scarves to wrap breakable items. 10. Put together an "open first" box or laundry basket of essentials you'll need right away like paper towels, toothbrushes, pajamas, toilet paper and shampoo.

Even though I’m against the current fall propaganda, I am loving the Pinterest Fall 2024 Trend Report. My favorite section was of course "Gen Z hobbies: Trendy creations and social vibrations." Pinterest says: “Gen Z is dedicated to fostering community, embracing new experiences and pursuing creative hobbies. Searches for “fall activities” have increased 50%, ranging from jewelry making to bag crafting, indicating that DIY projects are becoming increasingly popular. Additionally, there is a growing interest in club activities: searches for book clubs (“fall books” up 135%), drama clubs and run clubs are all on the rise. This fall, Gen Z is combatting the autumn blues by focusing on innovative hobbies and IRL connections.” I’ve already seen an increase in the DIY projects and [insert activity here] Club on TikTok over the past few months and can definitely see it growing even more during the fall as a way to combat the school stress and “autumn blues”. I love the idea of these trends coming to life with a small group of friends. But I’m more interested to see how these trends show up in brand activations during the Fall. DIY projects and activations go hand in hand. In my opinion, the best and most memorable activations are the ones where you’re able to create/customize something and bring it home. What DIY projects or club iterations are brands (and agencies) gonna come up with and/or lean into for Fall 2024?
