AI, we're all talking about it and some are fearing its' take-over of the creative field. For me, being a newly diagnosed 2e ADHD, facing challenges with a can do attitude has been the only way to survive. I'm a bitter optimist 😁 AI opens so many new creative doors for artists. The pallet is not only filled to the brim with colours but the tools are insane! I'm a creative person who has always relied on a black book (contact list) of talented creatives, directors, renderers and designers but with AI there is hope that I will be able to bring my ideas to life by myself. I just need to learn how to prompt. I don't even know where to start so Ted Schönbeck please point me in the direction of where we can best get the education to prompt and create with AI. 🥰 Having ADHD, most of my nights are still sleepless and I have crazy cinematic sci-fi dreams of social inequality and it would be cool to be able to bring them to life. I don't even like sci-fi so any psychologists out there please let me know why I dream in sci-fi? Haha! So, being a bit bold and controversial, I'm going to say that people that feel threatened by AI in terms of jobs would feel threatened by any new technology and for real creatives they see AI as a new asset. Please note, AI would not be this good if it wasn't for the work that artists have done this far! AI, is an accelerator, an amplifier and it's the tree that's grown from the human seed! So, where can I get the best training as an ADHD person to learn how to promt AI?

I don't think I'm too late to the party. Here's my first Luma AI video (queued for 4-6 hours). I'm not very experienced with video generators, but I've been playing #RunwayML for the past few months. My first impression of prompt-to-video: (+) The video has much more movements and character action than anything I got with runway, like way more. (+) 6 seconds, instead of 4. (+) Runway has a protection against multiple types of scenes (some of which I definitely agree with, but some I find restrictive, if you want to explore the action and horror movie genre). This one is meant for an action movie and it wasn't blocked as too violent, which I appreciate. (-) a few more gen-ai defects than I was lead to expect, but still acceptable for now (if you're looking for that gen-ai style). (-) announced time-to-generate 120 seconds which is slower than runway (even for 50% longer sequence). https://lnkd.in/eeBgyStA Overall, the current developments pace in the field leads me to think that in a year, we'll have something like 3x faster generation and close to perfect cinematic videos every time. We'll see.

One of the major problems with using generative AI tools for elearning characters has been that every image generated was slightly different. Hard to create a story when the character keeps changing. Looks like Consistent Character AI is the solution to that issue.
