One of Rome's most vibrant neighborhoods, Trastevere owes its name to the fact that this area, unlike the city's main tourist attractions, is located on the other side of the Tiber River, Tevere in Italian. Let me suggest another good reason to cross the river besides a street aperitivo in Piazza Trilussa, or crowning that cacio e pepe dream in one of Trastevere's trattorias. Nestled in a green oasis, #VillaFarnesina is one of my favorite places in #Rome. When I need to take a break from the hustle and bustle of my work, I simply cross the threshold and I am surrounded by the peace of its gardens. When I want to reconnect with my passion for art and the tradition of great Italian painting, #Raffaello is there for me, celebrating the legendary love between #AmoreandPsiche through an amazing cycle of frescoes. The most special thing about this place is that architecture and painting are deeply intertwined here, and you cannot tell where one begins and the other ends. #LuxuryTravel #DreamBig
