Full-loop injection is the most commonly used injection technique in ion chromatography. However, for more flexibility in sample volume, partial-loop injection is preferred. The Metrohm intelligent Partial-Loop Injection Technique (MiPT) enhances this approach with precise, automated liquid handling using a Dosino.   With MiPT, not only is calibration made much easier (i.e., by only requiring a single multi-ion standard), but the injection volume of undiluted samples can be automatically adjusted so that the measured concentration fits within the calibration range.
