In a significant move, 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐊𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐚'𝐬 𝐇𝐲𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐢 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐬 has commissioned six 10,800 ceu dual-fuel LNG 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐤 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬 (𝐏𝐂𝐓𝐂𝐬) from 𝐆𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐳𝐡𝐨𝐮 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐲𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 (𝐆𝐒𝐈), a subsidiary of 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐂𝐒𝐒𝐂). The contract, signed in mid-May 2024, highlights a collaborative effort between GSI and the 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐡𝐚𝐢 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐞 to develop what is claimed to be the 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝'𝐬 𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐥-𝐟𝐮𝐞𝐥 𝐜𝐚𝐫 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐫. This order is part of a broader initiative to expand 𝐇𝐲𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐢 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐬' dual-fuel car carrier fleet.
