There are three different ways to work with developers that are not in-house. Choosing the right path is based on if you have development leadership (CTO/CIO) or not. ➡️ Staff Augmentation (like ManekTech) Great for companies that have development leadership. You essentially get a non-permanent "employee". Bearing in mind that there is no accountability from the vendor providing the developers because your development leadership is responsible for the project's success as well as hiring the right candidates. ➡️ A Development Agency (like ManekTech) A great option for companies that do NOT have development leadership at all OR if the project you're working on is more or less independent from what you're in-house developers are working on. Dev agencies ARE held accountable for the entire project success. Budget,s deadlines, etc. They provide development leadership, developers, QA, UI/UX, etc... ➡️ Team-as-a-Service (Unique to ManekTech). It's a hybrid between the two listed above... we work as an extension of your development team. However, we still include all of the necessary skillsets of a development project (technical leadership, development, testing, UI/UX, etc.) AND are still held accountable for estimating, budget, deadlines, etc. Choosing the right development partner doesn’t have to be hard.
