I recently had the opportunity to delve into the "Inclusive Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Analysis in Montenegro" report, which applies the International Labour Organization's (ILO) inclusive entrepreneurship ecosystem approach to Montenegro. This comprehensive analysis offers valuable insights into creating a more inclusive and sustainable ecosystem that benefits all aspiring entrepreneurs. Key Highlights: The ILO framework focuses on six core pillars—policy, finance, support, culture, human capital, and market—with inclusiveness and pathways to decent work as cross-cutting dimensions. The report employs a mix of secondary data analysis and interviews with key actors within Montenegro's entrepreneurship ecosystem, mapping out the roles, dynamics, and key players. By integrating inclusiveness and decent work into the entrepreneurship ecosystem, the report identifies priority areas for improvement, ensuring that entrepreneurial support services are accessible to all and aligned with sustainability standards. For the first time, this approach connects inclusiveness and pathways to decent work directly with the entrepreneurship ecosystem, offering clear recommendations based on a theory of change on how to address identified challenges. Our latest published study by Stephen E. Lanivich, Nadia Zahoor, Francis Donbesuur, Dr Domnan Miri & Samuel Adomako, explores how psychological resiliency drives entrepreneurial strategies like product differentiation and international diversification, using the conservation of resources theory as our framework. Analysing data from 226 entrepreneurs in Pakistan, we find that resiliency enhances these strategies through entrepreneurial alertness. Notably, institutional voids play a crucial role in moderating the relationship between entrepreneurial alertness and these strategies, highlighting the potential advantages of navigating challenging environments. Our findings position entrepreneurial alertness as a critical factor linking founder characteristics to innovation and expansion, offering fresh insights for entrepreneurs facing institutional voids. This research not only advances the understanding of entrepreneurial alertness but also contributes significantly to international entrepreneurship literature. https://lnkd.in/enW2aC34

The Power of Global Entrepreneurs 🌐 In today's increasingly digitized world, entrepreneurship transcends borders more than ever. The Estonian e-Residency has been a trailblazer, allowing many global entrepreneurs to establish and manage their companies digitally, regardless of location and without physically visiting Estonia. Interacting with entrepreneurs and startups from various countries, I've come to understand how much time they devote to founding their companies and managing day-to-day operations. They often grapple with challenges presented by their home country to entrepreneurs. Instead, this energy should be redirected towards launching their companies. Estonia's digital opportunities have been groundbreaking for global entrepreneurs. They allow them to free themselves from excessive bureaucracy and focus on what truly creates value and opportunities globally within Estonia's smart and transparent business environment. Therefore, it's time to discard old work models and business environments that hinder company development and embrace the opportunities offered by the digital world and the #Estonian e-Residency allowing your company to soar higher without boundaries 🧨 Hiroyuki ANNO has chosen Estonia as the home for his company DELIGHT Global Inc. while simultaneously living in Japan 🇯🇵 and doing business in the US, Singapore, and the EU. This is a true example of how the sky is never the limit; one must act decisively and boldly. Thank you, Hiroyuki, for visiting Estonia! #globalopportunities #digitalworld
