Pennsylvania’s Puerto Rican American population could potentially pivot America’s most populous swing state. That’s not only a tongue twister but also an election twister. President Joe Biden’s home state of Pennsylvania ultimately voted blue in 2020, but which color will America’s most populous swing state vote this time around? With nearly 500,000 Puerto Rican Americans ready to vote in the Keystone State, the large and growing community could be the margin of difference in the upcoming 2024 elections. In this episode, co-hosts Sara and Juan Diego discuss Puerto Rican Americans’ voting power in Pennsylvania — their migration history to the state, the issues impacting their communities, and their potential to sway the election. Have you noticed that Democrats, during their election campaigns, present themselves as aligning with more conservative ideals - such as patriotism, fiscal responsibility, or support for traditional values - in order to gain broad voter appeal? However, once in office, they implement policies that are aligned with socialist or Marxist ideologies, such as wealth redistribution, expanded government control, or collectivism. Openly advocating for socialism or Marxism would not be popular or successful in winning elections, so Democrats "mask" their true governing intentions to appeal to a broader electorate. Elections have consequences. Be careful what you choose, as the divide in policies and platforms has never been so great. Therefore, the consequences will be equally significant. #informed #deceit #deception #truth

At least 840,000 Texans voted on the first day of early voting, the most in state history. Despite restrictive laws, including a recent voter roll purge, people turned out to exercise their right to vote. Young adults, the most diverse generation in history, can significantly impact our country by electing leaders who prioritize their concerns. This election includes not just the Presidential race but also critical state and local elections. Early voting gives you more flexibility and helps avoid long lines on election day. https://lnkd.in/gvez9h2P

Standing for Democracy and Accountability. Today, I had the privilege to testify before the Wisconsin Elections Commission, representing All Voting is Local Action and over 1,800 Wisconsinites who stand for free and fair elections. We are calling for the immediate resignation of Bob Spindell from the Wisconsin Elections Commission. His actions as a 2020 fake elector and his alarming remarks celebrating voter suppression in Black and Brown communities betray the trust that our elections are built on. As a mother and a proud Wisconsinite, I believe that every voter, regardless of race or political party, deserves respect and representation. Bob Spindell has failed in this responsibility, and today we made it clear: Wisconsinites deserve better. Together, we’re holding our leaders accountable and pushing for a more equitable democracy. #ProtectOurVote #FreeAndFairElections #DemocracyInAction #AccountabilityMatters #ResignBobSpindell #AllVotingisLocalAction

Exercise your power!
The One Hundred Black Men Of Austin, Inc truly believe that “Your Vote is Your Power” and this November is no different. For the last four years, we have worked to ensure all Texans know the importance of their vote. It’s not about any particular candidate, it’s about fulfilling the duties and rights that were handed down from those before us. During the last election, an estimated 10 million+ eligible voters did not vote. We’re asking that you get in the game, not only for this upcoming election but all elections locally, statewide, as well as national elections. Over the next several weeks, we will be sharing why members of our organization vote, what to expect on the ballots beforehand, speak with first time voters and more for our campaign. Remember, Your Vote is Your Voice. Your Voice is Your Power! See you at the polls. #TexasVoters #VoteInTexas #2024Election #YourVoteisYourPower #OneHundredBlackMenofAustin

The lesson? The new "Alaska Model" has led to better outcomes for Alaskans! Better governing, better cooperation across party lines, better campaigning and better solutions! Is it perfect? No, but why Alaskans, who are mostly independent, would want to go backwards to a system of partisan primaries and plurality outcomes that would restrict their own voices does not make sense to me. #VoteNoOnMeasure2 #MyVoteMatters
Hear from three elected leaders in Alaska — 2 Republicans and 1 Democrat — on how #RankedChoiceVoting has improved elections, governance, and accountability to voters in their state! Shoutout Representative Mary Peltola, Senator Lisa Murkowski, and Alaska Senate President Cathy Giessel.

Hey friends! We’re back with video 12 in our 14-part series on Colorado ballot measures. Today’s topic? 🗳️ Proposition 131! Prop 131 would bring an open primary and ranked choice voting system to Colorado for major elections. Here’s what that means: ✨ Instead of separate party primaries, all candidates would compete in a single “super primary.” The top 4, regardless of party, would move on to the general election. 🏆 ✨ Then, in the general election, voters would rank those 4 candidates. The candidate with the fewest first-place votes is eliminated, and their votes are redistributed until one winner remains. Some argue it gives independents more power and options, while others question if we need such a big change, especially one funded by one wealthy individual. 🤔 Would you prefer a broader choice with ranked voting, or do you think the current system works just fine? Drop your thoughts below! ⬇️ #ColoradoVotes #Prop131 #RankedChoiceVoting #BallotMeasures #OpenPrimary #ElectionReform

We are one week from Election Day. Voting is the most powerful way to shape the future of our communities and our country. In the last presidential election, more than 159 million people voted, but still, nearly one-third of eligible voters stayed home. When elections can be decided by just a few thousand votes, as we’ve seen in key swing states, every single ballot counts. This election is about the future we want—one where the U.S. continues to lead in policy, rights, and innovation. It’s not about convenience or the weather on Election Day; it’s about our collective responsibility to make sure our voices are heard. Democracy thrives when citizens participate, and by voting, we ensure the values we stand for are reflected in our leadership. Let’s not allow apathy or inconvenience to silence us—our vote is our power, and together, we can create the future we deserve.
