I recently attended a thought-provoking conference on the evolving dynamics and future perspectives of relations between Morocco and the European Union. The discussions emphasized the significance of collaboration in areas such as trade, cultural exchange, sustainable development, and digital transformation. As we move forward, the insights shared at the conference highlighted the potential for strengthened partnerships, mutual growth, and innovative solutions to shared challenges. This event reinforced my belief in the power of cross-border dialogue and cooperation. I was excited to apply these insights and contribute to the discourse on fostering a stronger, more resilient partnership between Morocco and the EU. Thanks to everyone who was there for their informative participation. #MoroccoEU #InternationalRelations #SustainableDevelopment #GlobalPartnership #FuturePerspectives #ConferenceInsights

This week, presidents Bola Tinubu of Nigeria and Paul Kagame of Rwanda participated in the #specialmeeting24 on Global Collaboration, Growth, and Energy for Development in Riyadh. Their participation coincides with the development of economic ties between Africa and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states. This evolving economic partnership holds immense potential for both regions, promising significant advancements in diversification, investment and sustainable development. The fact that companies in the GCC have already pledged $53 billion in investments in Africa, earmarked for critical projects addressing food security, the energy transition, and infrastructure development, is a testament to this potential. While Africa welcomes and appreciates this investment, the presidents were unequivocal in their message at the #specialmeeting24: Africa is open for business, but equity, inclusivity and collaboration must be at the heart of every transaction. Here's my round-up of their key messages. And for more on what leaders were talking about at the #specialmeeting24, read more from Gayle Markovitz here: https://wef.ch/4duNse6

#AmChamPriorities #AmChamEvents | #Corporate #Governance in #Action was the focus of the 5th edition of the #AmCham – Ziarul Financiar Corporate Governance Conference on October 25th. Mircea Tiplea, Partner with Amrop Romania, moderator of the first panel of the conference, sets the scene for the hands-on discussion with the high –level executives he welcomed as speakers, by pointing out the prerequisites for a nation’s competitiveness and what organizations need to create value: “Competitiveness at the level of a nation means the ability to put the totality of skills at work to create value and prosperity. As a country, on top of effective public policies, you need infrastructure, functional education and health systems, and security to create value. As for institutions (...), they must refrain from being mere beneficiaries and create a framework in which people and companies can save, invest, take initiative, and create value.” 👏 #ThankYou Mircea for your valuable contribution to another successful edition of the Corporate Governance conference. 📍Follow us as we rewind #KeyMessages at the conference. 🔽 📍More key messages at the conference are captured in ZF event articles reflecting the event: https://lnkd.in/dRyV-VAu 📍Full conference video ➡ https://lnkd.in/dvtSMygj #achamromania #amchammembers #businesscommunity #leadershiptalks #corporategovernance #businessethics #integrity #transparency #goodgovernance
