I'm thrilled to share the Quantum Technology Monitor 2024, which synthesizes the latest opportunities in this burgeoning field of quantum technology. #Quantum technology could create value worth trillions of dollars within the next decade as the world makes ‘steady progress in approaching the quantum advantage’. One of the most fascinating facts I came across during the analysis is how multiple Asian countries are catching up on quantum technologies, with bold funding commitments and technological advancements. It was an incredible experience collaborating with the team (Rodney W. Today the Wall Street Journal's Steve Rosenbush explores how our region's #quantum tech efforts could create an "updated model for economic development" as leaders from government, industry, and academia work together to ensure that our ecosystem includes both breakthrough R&D and robust, locally based commercialization, including through projects like the new Illinois Quantum and Microelectronics Park (#IQMP), anchored by CQE corporate partner PsiQuantum. “We have a right to win in quantum because of [our region's] research base," CQE CEO Kate Waimey Timmerman said.
