As the founder of The City Fence Consulting Firm, I’ve been brooding on a vision that’s stirring in my heart—a recalibration of what we can offer to small business owners and kingdom entrepreneurs. 𝐆𝐢𝐫𝐥𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬: I have exciting plans for this initiative, especially as we approach International Women’s Day (IWD) 2025. It’s all about empowering and supporting women entrepreneurs to grow their ventures. 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐝𝐨𝐦 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬: What began as a webinar is set to evolve into an academy for Christian Business Owners and Kingdom Entrepreneurs. Here, faith-driven entrepreneurs will learn how to merge biblical principles with business success. Feature speakers, mentors, and resources from various cultural backgrounds. ✅ Partner with Local Organizations: Collaborate with community-based organizations to understand cultural nuances and leverage their expertise. Don'ts: ❌ Stereotype: Avoid making assumptions about individuals based on their cultural background. Treat everyone with respect and individuality. ❌ Tokenize: Don't use diversity as a marketing gimmick. Ensure that your efforts to promote inclusivity are genuine and meaningful. ❌ Ignore Cultural Differences: Recognize that cultural differences exist and can impact interactions. Whether it's a team in the trenches, a group of entrepreneurs sharing insights, or an organisation striving towards a common mission, the sense of belonging transforms individuals and goals alike.
