Collaboration for a Thriving Community This year saw record warmth during winter season. As business owners in a small recreational town that is snow dependent for one of our three profitable seasons, we need to collaborate with all the impacted populations to ensure the long term survival of this way of life. In the ever-evolving landscape of our beloved recreation town, the synergy between local businesses and government is not just beneficial, but essential. As we navigate the changing tides of our environment, it is this partnership that will ensure the prosperity of our visitors, the well-being of our residents, and the growth of our enterprises. Together, we can create a sustainable model that balances economic development with environmental stewardship. By fostering open communication, sharing resources, and aligning our goals, we can enhance the experience of every visitor, provide for our locals, and pave the way for businesses to flourish. Let’s unite in our efforts to make our town a beacon of community-driven success, where the beauty of our surroundings is matched only by the strength of our collaboration. #CommunityDevelopment #LocalBusiness #GovernmentPartnership #SustainableGrowth

Parks and open space are essential for our well-being, health, and community vitality. Unlocking equitable access to parks and open spaces is a vital imperative. The research report from @Jon Christensen from the Institute of Environment and Sustainability at UCLA and Dan Rademacher analyzed equity and access to parks and open space. One finding in the report was that the state of California, while doing better than most states, still has 22% of the population without a nearby park. Read the full report here and join the movement for equitable access to parks. Let’s create vibrant, inclusive spaces where everyone can thrive! https://lnkd.in/gwjWY-HY #Outdoors #Parks
