Our webinar ‘How to measure the impact of a global project portfolio by Schneider Electric Foundation’ took place last Tuesday! What did we learn? (En Français ci-dessous) Thanks to Cristina Til from the Schneider Electric Foundation and Ricardo Scacchetti for their comprehensive and transparent presentation. The challenge of this initiative was significant and presented a number of obstacles at the start: ❌ the language barrier ❌ different cultural contexts ❌ complex data analysis with so many projects. How did the Foundation cope? ✅ The Foundation is developing a harmonised impact measurement approach in collaboration with its partners to make it accessible and useful for all the projects involved. The key was to remain agile in the approach in order to adapt to different contexts and allow data to be aggregated. ✅ Another key success factor was to ensure the commitment of the partners while avoiding a time-consuming approach. The approach was therefore based on a MOOC and a platform, which facilitates the collection and analysis of data in different languages, as well as regular checkpoints with experts and the SE Foundation. And what are the prospects for the future? 👉 The Foundation would like to help the partners to become autonomous in this process and extend its use to other programmes. As Cristina Til put it so well during the webinar: ‘Project leaders are autonomous, but they are not alone’ 😉 Special thanks to our partner Labo E&MISE ESSEC with whom we had the pleasure to work on this huge project! #impact #SEfoundation #youth #foundation Mardi dernier a eu lieu notre webinaire en anglais “How to measure the impact of a global project portfolio by Schneider Electric Foundation?” !

🕹 This year, I committed to continuous learning, focusing on professional development and personal growth. As a project manager with a passion for #environmental sustainability, particularly circular economy and #agriculture, I knew I needed to upskill myself. 🎯 My goal? To leverage digital technologies and become more efficient and effective in managing sustainable projects! ♠ That's where the INCO Academy Green Digital Skills course came in! This comprehensive program equipped me with the necessary skills to navigate the exciting intersection of #technology and #sustainability. We delved into various modules like: ♣ Foundations of Sustainability in Tech: Building a strong foundation in green tech principles. ♣ Estimating Carbon Footprint: Quantifying environmental impact for informed decision-making. ♣ Green Digital Design: Learning how to design digital solutions with an eco-conscious approach. ♣ Green Digital Marketing: Promoting sustainable practices through effective marketing strategies. ♣ Green Digital Infrastructure: Understanding how infrastructure choices can impact the environment. ♣ Carbon Accounting & AI: Exploring the power of AI in carbon footprint analysis and #mitigation strategies. 😅 The interesting part was that I failed my capstone project on the first attempt and succeeded at a second try. ❤️ My profound appreciation goes to our facilitator Rand Alotaibi for the constructive feedback and helping me come up with a more #sustainable capstone project incorporating #GreenDigitalSkills. 💢 Throughout the course I also made an effort to #connect with other amazing colleagues nouha El hassouni, Reginald Yaw Ansu-Koranteng, Portia Abena Dokyi, TITUS MUTUKU, Javeria Arshad, Kuti Obakunle O. (TRCN, MCIHRM, Ch.HRBP), Sarah M. Makled, Sheikh Adil zubair, Paschaline Agbams among others. 💥 Now, I'm thrilled to share that I've completed the course and even have a capstone project in mind! I envision #collaborating with the Ga West Municipal Assembly, various #wastemanagement institutions, and the local community to implement this project in Ga West Municipality. Stay tuned for further updates! Sustainability with Koomson (SWK) #greenskills #sustainability #circulareconomy #projectmanagement #INCO #learning #incoacaademy
