Let's make the most of holiday and year end celebrations! 🎁 The world is festooned with sparkle and glitter. I see it in my neighbourhood, at homes, restaurants, hotels, malls, markets, shops, and all the places we gather to celebrate. Given all the events during what I call the "silly-season", this is a perfect time to consider adding inspiration to your conversations. Words are powerful and small adjustments in your language can bring deeper connection and help you stand out as a leader. For example, instead of bemoaning a commitment you've made saying, "I have to do [fill in the commitment] before we shut down for the holidays." Say, I get to do [fill in the commitment] before we shut down for the holidays." Note the positive tone, open and engaging attitude, and higher energy when you consider changing just one word.
