Our team conducted an interview with our project clients, which gave us valuable insights and a much clearer understanding of the project goals. It was a fantastic session that helped us feel even more confident moving forward. After the interview, I squeezed in a quick volleyball training session. A bit of exercise is a great way to unwind after a productive day, and it also helps with focus and teamwork – both crucial for project success! Reflection of Olympic Beach Volleyball & Team Collaboration 🏐🇱🇻 My appreciation for team sports, particularly beach volleyball, is profound. But it’s not just a game;it’s a showcase of strategic collaboration. Observing our Latvian women’s beach volleyball team, Tina Graudina and Anastasija Samoilova, I was struck by their approach to teamwork. Their interaction, captured in a short video, revealed a level of mutual support and determination that’s often unseen. Exerfly and Volleyball Jump Performance Recently experimenting with Flywheel training and Volleyball performance. Using the flywheel 3 sessions per week, along with accessory exercises (RDL, Calf work etc.) in our players preparation period. A mix of Squatting and split squats were used with volume staying consistent through the period of training. Testing CMJ, Abalakov, Drop jump and approach jump pre and post to identify any changes. As flywheel training requires the ability to decelerate at high velocity and regenerate that force to then reaccelerate (jump/stand up), the relationship to jump performance should correlate highly. High eccentric forces, high RFD's are key Check the table to see changes across the program.
