When do you start decking the halls? 🎄 Are you a "Christmas tree goes up the day after Thanksgiving" kind of person, or do you wait a bit longer to soak up the fall vibes first? Or, maybe you have your own unique tradition or skip the tree altogether due to personal or religious reasons. No matter how you celebrate this time of year, it’s the perfect moment to create a cozy, welcoming atmosphere in your home. Pro tip: Try diffusing Holiday Joy or Holiday Peace for those festive holiday scents, or choose something more neutral like Douglas Fir and Lemon to freshen up your space in a way that feels right for you. Embracing the Holiday Spirit: How Marketing Shapes Our Traditions! 🍀🎉 As we gear up to celebrate St. Patrick's Day, it’s interesting to observe how marketing influences our holiday traditions! 🌈✨ From festive parades to the iconic green beer, these traditions have been shaped by clever marketing strategies over the years. 💡 Did you know that the modern-day celebration of St. Patrick's Day traces back to as early as 1631 when the Church established a Feast Day honoring St. Patrick? 🍀 This Patron Saint of Ireland, who passed away in the fifth century, laid the foundation for the festivities we know today, albeit centuries later! According to a fascinating article from The New York Times, the evolution of St. Patrick's Day traditions is a testament to the power of marketing. 📈 The tradition of drinking green beer, while now synonymous with St. Patrick's Day festivities, is actually a relatively recent addition. After a clever marketing push from Budweiser in the 1980s, this vibrant libation became a staple of celebrations worldwide 🍺✨ Whether it's through parades, themed merchandise, or iconic beverages, marketing continues to add a splash of excitement to our festivities! 🎉💚 #StPatricksDay #HolidayTraditions #MarketingMagic Read more about The True History Behind St. Patrick’s Day by Ashley Ross at Time

Happy Independence Day! Our office is closed in observance of the holiday, but we'll be back in tomorrow from 8:30am to 1:00pm, ready to bring the fireworks (figuratively speaking, of course!). As financial advisors, we think there’s no better way to celebrate this day than by sharing an overview of the numbers that shape our celebratory experiences: 🍴$9.5 billion - The estimated amount Americans spent on 4th of July food in 2023 — about $93.34 per person. 🌭 150 million - The number of hot dogs consumed each 4th of July — enough to stretch from D.C. to L.A. more than five times. It’s also the number of American flags sold in the U.S. each year. 📺2 million - The number of people who tuned in to watch 2023 Nathan’s Famous International Hot Dog Eating Contest champs Miki Sudo and Joey Chestnut consume 102 hot dogs combined. 🍻$3 billion - The estimated amount of dollars Americans spent on beer and wine for the Fourth of July in 2023. If you partake, just remember to enjoy responsibly! 🎇$2.3 billion - The total U.S. consumers spent on fireworks in 2023. 🚗50.7 million - The number of people who traveled 50+ miles from home for the 4th of July, up 4% from 2022. Whether your day includes travel, hot dogs and hamburgers, fireworks — or something else entirely — we’re wishing you a day filled with fun and relaxation!
