Time spent in recce is never wasted! This was something that really resonates with me and it is about investing heavily into all aspects of planning. Get the foundation right, involve the right people to help and your event will sing. Phase one has to be seeing the venue and meeting their team onsite. Relationships between host and venue are critical as something will go wrong or you will need help that is beyond the ordinary. If you have invested in those who will deliver that help then you can count on getting it when it’s needed. Collaboration. Build the relationships that will deliver success and share that success when your event has delighted your client. Easy right? But is it?
